2.6.4. Check of a compression (engines of 1,4-1,8 l)
NOTE
Before the procedure of check warm up the engine up to the working temperature (oil temperature – 80 °C).

Removal of the module of ignition
Remove a plait of wires of the module of ignition.
Uncover the ignition module a cover of a head of the block of cylinders in the direction of an arrow.
Turn off two bolts of fastening.
Separate the ignition module from spark plugs by means of the KM special tool 6009 2.
Open a butterfly valve, using the TECH 2 device.
Apply the "check of a compression" program of the device (TECH 2).
The components removed at dismantle of the module of ignition: 1 – ignition module cover; 2 – special tool; 3 – plait of wires of the module of ignition; 4 – ignition module; 5 – fastening bolts; 6 – cover of a head of the block of cylinders
Procedure of check
Connect a tester and include a starter on 4 pages.
NOTE
Use a compression tester with a rubber cone and with a range of measurements up to 1750 kPa (17.5 bars).

Minimum frequency of rotation of the mines-1 engine 300.
Compare indications of values of a compression.
Distinction of values of the maximum pressure between cylinders should not exceed 100 kPa (1 bar).
Installation of components
Establish spark plugs by means of the special KM-194-E tool in a head of the block of cylinders and tighten the moment 25 N · m.
Connect the ignition module to spark plugs.
Tighten two bolts of fastening the moment of 8 N · m.
Establish an ignition module cover on a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
Connect the socket of a plait of wires of the module of ignition.
