2.6.2. Check of loss of pressure in the engine (engines of 1,4-1,6 l)

Removal of the case of the air filter

NOTE
Before the procedure of check warm up the engine up to the working temperature (oil temperature – 80 °C).

Open a cowl
The components removed at dismantle of the air filter: 1 – bolt of fastening of the lower rubber support; 2 – plait of wires of the sensor of a mass consumption of air; 3 – line of ventilation of the fuel tank; 4 – hose of ventilation of the engine; 5 – air inlet hose; 6 – inlet pipe

Remove the case of the air filter.
Disconnect a plait of wires of the sensor of a mass consumption of air.
Disconnect the line of ventilation of the fuel tank.
Disconnect a hose of ventilation of the engine from an air inlet hose.
Having removed a collar, disconnect an air inlet hose from a throttle branch pipe.
Having removed a collar, disconnect the case of the air filter.
Turn off a bolt of fastening of the lower rubber support and disconnect it.
Disconnect an inlet pipe.

Removal of the module of ignition
Remove a plait of wires of the module of ignition.
Uncover the ignition module a cover of a head of the block of cylinders in the direction of an arrow.
Turn off two bolts of fastening.

The components removed at dismantle of the module of ignition: 1 – ignition module cover; 2 – special tool; 3 – plait of wires of the module of ignition; 4 – ignition module; 5 – fastening bolts; 6 – cover of a head of the block of cylinders

Separate the ignition module from spark plugs by means of the KM special tool 6009 2.

Removal of sensors of a cam-shaft
Disconnect sockets of the sensor of a cam-shaft, the film sensor of a mass consumption of air, the sensor of pressure of oil and the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid.
Disconnect conducting from a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
Take away it back.

Removal of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders
Remove two collars and disconnect engine hoses from a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
Disconnect the socket of a plait of wires of the module of ignition.
Uncover the ignition module a cover of a head of the block of cylinders in the direction of an arrow.
Turn off two bolts of fastening.
Separate the ignition module from spark plugs by means of the KM special tool 6009 3.
Remove from a head of the block of cylinders.
Turn off 13 bolts of fastening.
Remove the remains of laying and clear the condensed surfaces.
Remove spark plugs by means of the special KM-194-E tool.

ATTENTION
Open a cover accurately and slowly. There is a risk of receiving burns.

Turn off a cover of a broad tank of cooling liquid.
Take out the oil probe.
Lift the car.

Removal of the right boryzgovik of the engine
Turn off 4 bolts of fastening and remove the right mudguard of the engine.
Remove two rivets established on a body.

Installation of a bent shaft in the provision of the top dead point (TDP) of the piston of the cylinder No. 1
Use a bolt on a nave of a bent shaft for installation of a bent shaft in the provision of the top dead point (TDP) of the piston of the cylinder No. 1 in the direction of rotation of the engine.
The tag on a belt pulley of a bent shaft has to be combined with a ledge on the case.

Installation of a bent shaft in the provision of the top dead point (TDP) of the piston of the cylinder No. 1: 1 – cams of the cylinder No. 1; 2 – ledge; 3 – tag

NOTE
In this situation cams of the cylinder No. 1 settle down in VMT (both cams are turned outside).

Displace tags on a belt pulley on 180 ° concerning a tag of VMT of the first cylinder (shooter).
Lower the car.
Connect a pressure drop tester to system of supply of compressed air.
Calibrate a pressure drop tester.
Screw a connecting detail in a candle opening of the cylinder No. 1 and connect a pressure drop tester to a connecting detail (according to the instruction of the producer).
Choose transfer and turn on the emergency brake.

NOTE
All wheels have to concern the earth.

The recommended moments of an inhaling of threaded connections
* Two passes
** Use new bolts

On the automatic transmission move the selector lever to situation "P".
Check pressure drop in the cylinder No. 1.
Consider indications of pressure drop on a tester as a percentage.

NOTE
Pay attention to any noise from leak of air from an inlet collector, system of release or a case, and also to bubbles in a broad tank of the cooling system.

Install a bent shaft in the provision of ignition in the cylinder No. 3 (BMT).
Check pressure drop in the cylinder No. 3.
Install a bent shaft in the provision of ignition in the cylinder No. 4 (BMT).
Check pressure drop in the cylinder No. 4.
Install a bent shaft in the provision of ignition in the cylinder No. 2 (BMT).
Check pressure drop in the cylinder No. 2.
Compare the received results.
The maximum dispersion of pressure between individual cylinders makes about 10%.
The maximum pressure drop in the separate cylinder should not exceed 25%.

Installation of components
Lift the car.
Attach the right mudguard of the engine.
Tighten 4 bolts.
Establish two rivets.
Lower the car.
Establish a cover of a broad tank of cooling liquid and the oil probe.
Establish spark plugs by means of the special KM-194-E tool in a head of the block of cylinders and tighten the moment 25 N · m.

Installation of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders
Establish a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
Replace consolidation.

ATTENTION
Execute assembly within 10 min. after consolidation installation.

Installation of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders: 1 – cover of a head of the block of cylinders; 2 – consolidation

Put a layer of silicone sealant (gray) about 2 mm thick (size I) in a junction of the case of synchronization and a head of the block of cylinders.

ATTENTION
Visually check bolts and be convinced that consolidation is not damaged. If necessary replace bolts new.

Tighten 13 bolts of fastening the moment of 8 N · m.
Install the ignition module.
Connect the module to spark plugs.
Tighten two bolts of fastening the moment of 8 N · m.
Establish an ignition module cover on a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
Connect the socket of a plait of wires of the module of ignition.
Fix a plait of wires on a cover of a head of the block of cylinders.
Connect sockets of the sensor of a cam-shaft, the sensor of a mass consumption of air, the sensor of pressure of oil and the sensor of temperature of cooling liquid.
Install the case of the air filter on an arch of a wheel and tighten a fastening bolt.
Attach an air inlet hose to the module of a butterfly valve and fix a collar.
Attach a hose of ventilation of the engine to a hose of an air inlet and fix a collar.
Connect the socket of a plait of wires to the weight air consumption sensor.
Connect a tube of ventilation of the fuel tank.
Close a cowl.
