3.1.2. Pumping of the hydraulic drive of coupling (the transmission – F13/F17+/F23)

ATTENTION
Use only the DOT 4 brake fluid.

The hydraulic drive of coupling is pumped over only "from below", that is via the pumping valve. For this purpose the device for removal of air from a hydraulic actuator of brakes is used.

ATTENTION
Manual pumping is not allowed.
Observe production instructions when using the device for removal of air from brakes. The device for removal of air from brakes has to provide pressure about 2 bars.

Installation of the device
Attach the device for removal of air from a hydraulic actuator. For this purpose attach the device adapter for removal of air from brakes to a tank of a hydraulic actuator of the brake system.
Install the special MKM-6174-2 tool on the adapter.
Lower the end of a hose in a suitable container.
Disconnect a valve cap from the valve of pumping and attach the special MKM-6174-1 tool to the pumping valve.
Remove air from the coupling drive.
Turn on the device for removal of air from a hydraulic actuator.
Open the pumping valve (2–3 turns).
Pump over to an exit of brake fluid without bubbles.
Close (by hand) the pumping valve.

Removal of the device
Disconnect the device for removal of air from a hydraulic actuator. Disconnect the device adapter for removal of air from a hydraulic actuator.

ATTENTION
Surely execute the following operations for filling of the delivery pipeline of a case of the transmission of the working cylinder of coupling. When pumping, make sure that the tank of a hydraulic actuator of the brake system is filled.

Remove air from the delivery pipeline of the working cylinder of coupling.
Install the special MKM-6174-2 tool on MKM-6174-1 on the pumping valve, lower the free end in a suitable container
Press and hold a coupling pedal.
Open the pumping valve.
Open the pumping valve before emergence of air and/or mix of air / brake fluid.
Close (by hand) the pumping valve.
Slowly release a pedal of coupling and wait for about 5 pages.
Repeat the procedure four times.
Tighten the pumping valve the moment of 5 N · m.
Disconnect the special MKM-6174-1 and MKM-6174-2 tools.
Remove a cap from the pumping valve.
Fill a tank of a hydraulic actuator of coupling with brake fluid to a tag of "MAX".
Close a tank of a hydraulic actuator of the brake system.
Check pressure of operation of a pedal of coupling.
Check ease of inclusion of all transfers at the working engine and the squeezed-out coupling.

NOTE
Make a trial trip to guarantee accurate work of system of coupling and braking. You carry out a trip with various speeds and frequent gear shifting to reach working temperatures.
