7.1.8. Replacement of a starter (Z10XE, Z 10 XEP, without conditioner)

NOTE
On cars since a year of release 04 with ESP – after each detachment of the accumulator the sensor of an angle of rotation of a steering wheel loses the main installation. It is necessary to calibrate it anew.

Removal
Open a cowl.
Disconnect the accumulator.
Disconnect a weight wire.
Lift the car.
Remove a casing of a poliklinovy belt.

NOTE
On option of the ECO model uncover motor office below.
|
Unscrew 3 bolts of fastening 1.
Dismantle a clip (shooter).
Take off a poliklinovy belt.
|
NOTE
Mark the direction of rotation.
|
Pull the tension device of a poliklinovy belt by means of KM-6131 in the direction of an arrow.
Remove from a pulley poliklinovy ременя a bent shaft.
Insert KM-955-21.
Weaken a tension of the tension device of a poliklinovy belt.
Remove the tension device of a poliklinovy belt.
Turn out the screw 2.
Disconnect the socket of a plait of wires a lambda sensor of control of the catalyst.
Remove cable collars.
Unscrew a plait of wires of the generator 1.
Turn off 2 nuts.
Dismantle the generator.
Turn off 2 threaded connections.
Carefully remove the generator, having pulled down.
Disconnect a plait of wires of a starter.
Turn off 2 nuts 1.
Dismantle a starter.
Turn off 2 bolts of fastening (arrow).
Installation
Establish a starter.
Tighten 2 bolts of fastening of 25 N · m.
Fix a plait of wires of a starter.
Tighten 2 nuts.
Install the generator.
Tighten 2 threaded connections of 35 N · m.
Fasten a plait of wires of the generator.
Tighten 2 nuts.
Connect the socket of a plait of wires a lambda sensor of control of the catalyst.
Establish cable collars.
Install the tension device of a poliklinovy belt.
Tighten the screw of 20 N · m.
Establish a poliklinovy belt.

NOTE
Observe the direction of rotation and assembly situation.

Pull the tension device of a poliklinovy belt by means of KM-6131.
Remove KM-955-2.
Weaken a tension of the tension device of a poliklinovy belt.
Establish a casing of a poliklinovy belt.

NOTE
On option of the ECO model establish a cover of motor office below.
|
Tighten 3 bolts of fastening.
Establish a clip.
Lower the car.
Connect the accumulator.
Close a cowl.
Program volatile memory.
