5.1.3. Casing of a steering column

The new casing the helmsman of a column is adjustable on length and an inclination. The steering column can be adjusted on length on 50 mm, on an inclination – on 40 mm.

Work of a steering column at collision was also improved. The steering column is equipped with the protection device which interferes with falling of a steering column in case of collision. The protection device consists of a pin which at collision enters a groove. It interferes with falling of a steering column, thus protection of the driver is provided.

In the blocked situation the adjusting lever is fixed in safe situation in facing of a steering wheel.
