3.4.4. Removal and installation of a shaft of a wheel

Removal
Remove the corresponding forward wheel.
Disconnect a wheel shaft from a wheel nave.
Turn off a nut from a wheel shaft.
Hold by means of the special KM-468-B tool on a forward nave of a wheel.
Remove steering draft from a rotary fist, having turned off a fastening nut.
Vypressuyte steering draft from a rotary fist, using the special KM-161-B tool together with KM-161-2 adaptation.
Disconnect a brake hose from the supporting pipe of a spring rack.
Remove a clamping level.
Disconnect a brake hose from an arm.
Disconnect the rotary lever (1) from the supporting pipe of a spring rack.
Hold for lysk an open wrench.
Remove the hinge from a rotary fist, having turned off a fastening bolt.
Take away a rotary fist by means of the KM special tool 915.
Take out the hinge from a rotary fist.
Squeeze out a wheel shaft of a wheel nave.

NOTE
At the same time take away a rotary fist outside, use in case of need a wheel nave stripper.

Remove the lower cover of a motor compartment
Take out a wheel shaft from the transmission and bring down him from an intermediate shaft.

NOTE
Collect oil in the pallet and close openings caps.

Observe accuracy at the address with a wheel shaft.

Installation
Install a wheel shaft in the transmission.
Establish a new lock ring on a wheel shaft.
Cover vents and points of support with oil for transmissions
Install a wheel shaft in the transmission, hammer into the transmission with the rubber hammer and to suitable soft metal small beards to a zashchelkivaniye of a lock ring.
On cars with an intermediate shaft – establish a wheel shaft on an intermediate shaft.
Replace a lock ring on an intermediate shaft.
Fix the right shaft of a wheel on intermediate to a shaft.

ATTENTION
You watch to damaging a vent, press an intermediate shaft, using suitable soft metal small beards to a zashchelkivaniye of a lock ring.

Establish a wheel shaft in a wheel nave.
Attach the hinge to a rotary fist and tighten the moment 50 N · m.
Use new nuts.
Attach the rotary lever to the supporting pipe of a spring rack and tighten the moment 55 N · m.
Use new nuts.
Hold for lysk an open wrench.
Attach steering thirst for a rotary fist and tighten the moment 30 N · m + 90 ° +15 °.
Use new nuts.
Attach a brake hose to the supporting pipe of a spring rack.
Establish a brake hose in an arm on the supporting pipe of a spring rack.
Fix by a clamping level.
Establish a wheel shaft in a nave of a wheel and tighten the moment 150 N · m, turn off on 45 °, then and tighten the moment 250 N · m.
Use new nuts.
Hold by means of the special KM-468-B tool for a wheel nave.
Establish a forward wheel and tighten fastening bolts the moment of 110 N · m.
Check liquid level in transmissions.
